Rains Retreat (Vassa) 2023

A Mindful Invitation

On the dawn of Esala Full Moon Poya Day, the traditional invitation and other relevant customary deeds related to the observance of Rains Retreat were well performed out of compassion and loving-kindness - driving upon the Theravāda monastic code echoed through the ages.

The first Kaṭhina Robe Offering Ceremony will devotedly be sponsored by Mr Amlaka Hewa Naimanage, Mrs Nilu Jayasinghe and family - along with their close-knit friends in Oxford.

Our Group Sessions

We put our effort to spread the word of peace and wisdom during the Rains Retreat (Vassa), as it is purely dedicated to develop everyone's spirituality. Hence we hold group sessions biweekly during the three-month holy period to focus on enhancing inner well-being.
