6. Academic/Professional Reference (once you submit the application, the recruitment team has the right to contact your referee accordingly).
NB: An academic referee should be able to provide an independent comment on your ability to teach at the Oxford Dhamma School and should come from a lecturer, teacher, supervisor, etc, who has direct experience of teaching or supervising you during your studies. A professional reference should come from an individual, who has direct experience of supervising you, viz., your manager, supervisor, team leader or employer. References submitted by friends, family members, colleagues, or through free use email accounts (e.g. yahoo, hotmail, gmail, or other similar public systems) will not be accepted.

A Copy of Current Visa Status (if you do not own a British Passport)
A Copy of Enhanced DBS Certificate or Proof of Pending DBS Application
A Copy of Safeguarding Training Certificate Verified by NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) or Proof of Registration for Safeguarding Training
A Copy of One of the Following for Proof of Address: UK Driving Licence, A Recent Utility Bill (gas/electricity/water/TV licence), or A Recent Bank or Credit Card Statement

The information you have provided forms the legal basis of your application for the Teaching Staff at the Oxford Dhamma School. We reserve the right to refuse recruitment in the event of any misrepresentation by you. Submission of an application does not imply an offer of recruitment.
I certify that all the information given by me in this application is complete and accurate. I understand that if any of the information submitted in this application proves to be incorrect, the School reserves the right to withdraw any offer made or cancel any subsequent employment with the School. In addition, if recruited by the School, I will conform to School rules and regulations.
