Full-Moon Day Meditation Retreats 29/08/26

Since the time of the Buddha, Full-Moon Days (Poya or Uposatha) have been regarded as especially auspicious occasions for deepening one’s spiritual practice through meditation, ethical reflection, and mindful living. Across Buddhist traditions, these sacred days continue to offer an opportunity to pause, reconnect with what truly matters, and cultivate inner peace and wisdom. Our Full-Moon Day Meditation Retreats provide a welcoming space for both beginners and experienced practitioners to step away from the busyness of everyday life and dedicate a day to silence, mindfulness, and contemplative practice. Participants are invited to immerse themselves in the timeless practices of meditation and reflection while experiencing the supportive atmosphere of communal practice.
The retreat programme includes guided and silent meditation, traditional Buddhist chanting, Dhamma reflections and discussions, mindful walking meditation, periods of noble silence, and opportunities for mindful tea and fellowship. Participants are welcome to observe the Eight Precepts (Aṭṭhaṅga Uposatha Sīla) should they wish to embrace the traditional spirit of the retreat more fully.
Open to people of all cultural, religious, and philosophical backgrounds, these monthly retreats offer a precious opportunity to cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom in the midst of contemporary life. Whether you are beginning your meditation journey or seeking to deepen an established practice, we warmly invite you to spend a day of stillness, reflection, and renewal with us.
🌿 Full venue details will be shared upon RSVP.
Thank you! 🙏
