Visiting the Monastery

Quiet reflection, meditation practice, and spiritual guidance at the Oxford Buddhist Society.

We are presently residing in a temporary monastic residence (āvāsa) as we thoughtfully progress toward establishing our Theravāda Monastery Development Project.

We warmly welcome visitors who wish to spend time in meditation, study, or quiet reflection at the Oxford Centre of Theravāda Buddhism. Visits are arranged by prior appointment so that the peaceful environment of the monastery can be maintained for all practitioners. Whether you are beginning your meditation journey or deepening an established practice, we are happy to support you.
