The Art of Letting Go: From Mindfulness to Freedom – Rev Wadigala Samitharathana
“The more we let go, the more we discover the freedom that has always been present.”
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who attended our third Mindfulness Meditation Session of 2026, “The Art of Letting Go: From Mindfulness to Freedom.”
Held at our monastery, this special session offered an opportunity to pause, reflect, and explore the liberating practice of letting go through mindfulness. Participants were guided to cultivate greater awareness of attachment, expectation, and habitual patterns, learning how mindful observation can open the door to inner peace, wisdom, and freedom.
Through meditation, reflection, and gentle inquiry, we explored how letting go is not about losing or rejecting experience, but about relating to life with greater clarity, acceptance, and balance. This video is shared with gratitude for those who participated in the session and for anyone who wishes to revisit the teachings or explore them for the first time. May it support your ongoing journey of mindfulness and inner peace.
Weekend Evening Chanting & Guided Mindfulness Meditation: Join us every Saturday and Sunday evening for chanting and guided mindfulness meditation. These sessions provide a welcoming space to cultivate calm, clarity, and presence while connecting with a supportive community of practitioners.
Through chanting, we steady the mind and soften the heart. Through mindfulness, we develop awareness, wisdom, and compassion.
