Beginning at the break of dawn, the monastery becomes a space for mindful living.
The daily rhythm reflects the traditional life of a Theravāda Buddhist monk, grounded in the cultivation of loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity. The day opens with silent practice, followed by periods of reflection, study, and simple service grounded in the core teachings of compassion, loving-kindness, equanimity, and sympathetic joy. As evening falls, the Buddhist monk gathers once more for meditation and gentle chanting, closing the day with gratitude and calm presence.
