A Precious Time with Bhante G (Gunaratana) and the Monastic Saṅgha

It has been a joyful and deeply enriching experience spending precious time with Bhante G (Gunaratana) at the Bhāvana Society of West Virginia, together with visits to other close-knit Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna monasteries in Washington, DC, New York, and Pittsburgh. Undertaking a personal retreat provided a precious opportunity to cultivate compassion and wisdom through the practice of mindful awareness, meditative concentration, and spiritual friendship. These moments of quiet contemplation and shared practice have been a gentle reminder of the timeless value of the Buddha’s path and the immeasurable strength of the noble Saṅgha.
I remain deeply grateful to Bhante G, the noble friends of the Saṅgha, and the devoted laity, whose boundless kindness and generosity have so lovingly supported this humble journey in the pursuit of peace, wisdom, and the Dhamma.
By the power of this merit, may all beings—seen and unseen, sentient and non-sentient—be well, happy, peaceful, and free from suffering.
