Termination of the Rains Retreat (Pavāraṇā) 25/10/2026

On the dawn of Vap Full-Moon Day, the Termination of the Rains Retreat (Pavāraṇā) marks the peaceful conclusion of the three-month Vassa period, during which Buddhist monks dedicate themselves to spiritual practice, meditation, and the observance of monastic discipline.

In the evening, the monastery will welcome the first arrival of the sacred Kaṭhina Robe, accompanied by traditional evening customs, marking the beginning of the Kaṭhina season.
