Continuing the Path: Deepening Mindfulness in Daily Life 2026
“Meditation is always within you, but not without you.” – Rev. Wadigala Samitharathana
We are grateful to everyone who joined our second Mindfulness Meditation Retreat – “Continuing the Path: Deepening Mindfulness in Daily Life”. Held on the auspicious Madin Full-Moon Day, this retreat offered a valuable opportunity to deepen mindfulness through sustained attention, wise reflection, and gentle inquiry. Building upon the foundations of our first retreat, participants were guided to cultivate awareness in daily life, strengthening presence, clarity, and inner balance. Open to both new and experienced practitioners, the day supported a deeper connection to the Buddha’s teachings and the practice of mindful living.
Through mindfulness, we continue to explore each moment with calmness and understanding, recognising all experiences as: • Impermanent (Anicca) • Unsatisfactory (Dukkha) • Not-self (Anattā)
This video is shared for those who attended, as well as for anyone wishing to continue or deepen their journey on the path of mindfulness.
*Weekend Evening Chanting & Guided Mindfulness Meditation* Join us on Saturday and Sunday evenings for gentle chanting and guided mindfulness meditation. A supportive space to arrive fully into the weekend and prepare mindfully for the week ahead. Through chanting, we steady the breath and soften the body. Through guided mindfulness, we cultivate presence, clarity, and ease.
Beginning and ending the week in this way helps us release what has been and set a calm, intentional tone for what’s to come.
